Why is it important to get advice before branding apparel or merchandise?
Part of that consultative process that we go through is coming up with the right solution both the brand as well as the right shirt.
Embroidery may not be the perfect solution for everyone. Sometimes its digital printing, sometimes it’s screen printing; and sometimes it’s a mixed of embroidery and printing.
I’ve got an example of a customer that we have – Adpost Online. Adpost online is a group company that actually has a six little companies underneath it. And how to come about presenting those companies, was with the main brand embroidered on the front of the shirt and the six sub-brands printed across the back. Trying to get that message across of a group of companies still having their individual logos; but the size that they were if we’ve embroidered them then the detail would not have been there.
So the right solution for those shirts is digital printing on the back.
